Fresh Chinese Korla Fragrant Sand Pear Tree Seeds inside US and Fast shipping
Rare Fragrant Pear, Pure white, smell like rose and more juicer. Chinese Sand Pear, Sand Pear, Japanese Pear, Asian Pear, Oriental Pear - Pyrus pyrifolia Zone 5 - 9 ~!! Pyrus pyrifolia is a pear tree species native to China, Japan, and Korea. The tree's edible fruit is known by many names, including: Asian pear, Chinese pear, Korean pear, Japanese pear, Taiwan pear, and sand pear. The fruit is commonly known as an apple pear due to its appearance and taste. Along with cultivars of P. × bretschneideri and P. ussuriensis, the fruit is also called the nashi pear. It is not a cross between apples and pears, as the common name apple pear may suggest, but the fruit's shape and crisp texture are reminiscent of apples. Cultivars derived from Pyrus pyrifolia are grown throughout East Asia, and in other countries such as Australia, New Zealand, and the U.S.A. Traditionally in East Asia the tree's flowers are a popular symbol of early spring, and it is a common sight in gardens and the countryside. The fruits are generally not baked in pies or made into jams because they have a high water content and a crisp, grainy texture, very different from the buttery European varieties. They are commonly served raw and peeled. The fruit tends to be quite large and fragrant, and when carefully wrapped (it has a tendency to bruise because of its juiciness), it can last for several weeks or more in a cold, dry place.
Growing Info:
Place the seeds in a sealable plastic bag with wet paper tower . Label and date the plastic bag and put the seeds in the refrigerator for 3-4 month. This refrigeration process mimics what would happen in the wild if the seed overwintered in the soil. Check the seeds periodically and keep them just moist. After 1-four months you can plant the seeds in in a small pot in sterile potting soil 1 inch (2.5 cm.) deep. Place only one seed per pot. Put the pot(s) in a sunny spot and keep the soil moist. The seeds should germinate and produce green growth in three months.
